Whats New?...Injectable Fillers Without Bruising!

  

Dr. Putman has introduced a new advanced technique of performing injectable fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane using small flexible micro-cannulas manufactured by DermaSculpt. These very thin flexible blunted cannulas are truly revolutionary and do not puncture or lacerate small blood vessels during the injection process. This virtually eliminates bruising around the  mouth, lips, midface and eyes. Dr Putman is the first surgeon in Central Illinois to use this technique.

 


 

Hand Rejuvenation with Fat Grafting & Laser Hand Treatments

 

 

 Dr. Putman is now applying advanced techniques using facial rejuvenation to restoring youthful characteristics to aging hands. The hands often suffer volume loss just as the face does. In addition, pigment spots and prominent veins become noticeable with age. Dr. Putman recently participated in a Face to Face International surgical mission to Linyi, China.  He and three other Facial Plastic Surgeons lectured and performed reconstructive surgery at the Linyi Peoples Hospital for one week.  This included six cleft lip and palate cases, several nasal reconstructions, one complex facial trauma, scar revisions and more.  Dr. Putman was selected by the Chinese medical delegation and his team to represent the AAFPRS at a ground breaking ceremony for the new 3000 bed Linyi Peoples Hospital on October 11, 2010.  Look for photo highlights of the trip on our website soon.
